Christmas magic will land in Terni, bringing several events among artistic and living cribs, concerts and markets that will accompany the town and its district throughout the holidays' period.

  Via del Piviere - Borgo Rivo
  The crib wants to pay a tribute to the tradition of Centurini's Jute Plant. Families of this village host open-air crib's paintings made with jute's elements as well as other wooden and metallic materials.

Acquasparta

• Living crib: The crib includes 150 characters and winds its way through the typical village's alleys. Beyond re-enacting the event of Belem's birth, it wants to recreate the craft and commercial activities made by ancestors in the town.

1545 monumental artistic crib made by more than 30 earthenware life-sized statues, painted with glass paint.

Orsoline's Museum, Via D. Radici
Permanent Exhibition of handmade cribs: 16 cribs in Neapolitan, Sicilian and Roman style, made by local artisans.
Time: Saturday from 3 to 6 pm; Sunday and holidays 11 am – 1 pm/ 3 – 6 pm.

Living crib in the Bufalari area, Santa Maria della Neve's district.
One of the first Umbrian living cribs, with more than 100 characters who give life to nativities performances in a highly inspiring scenery. The manger is located in a breathtaking spot, at the foot of a mountain that provides the setting for the whole performance.

Ferentillo

• Traditional Cribs' Itinerary
  Visit of artistic cribs along the Ferentillo – Nicciano hiking trail.

Montefranco

• Artistic crib made by the master watchmaker Giuseppe Romani. The crib has a perspective that through a play of mirrors creates a 50-60 meters sense of depth.

Narni 

• Artistic crib, Narni's cathedral:  Crib made with life-sized statues and composed of around 20 pieces, between characters and animals; some statues are handmade.

• Artistic crib in Itieli, Narni's district: Handmade, represents interesting places of Terni's district such as Marmore' waterfalls, the Narni's Franciscan Cave and the small Itieli's village.

San Gemini

• Exhibition of artistic and handmade cribs:  Cribs made by the Cribs Committee in collaboration with citizens and schools with different materials and techniques. The "Crib in the village" is particularly interesting: it is prepared in the center of San Giovanni Battista's Church that represents San Gemini's spots, its history as well as traditions over the years and it is handmade. Another loved crib is the one inside the Church of Saint Carl, made with the Infiorata's technique.

Some stands with street-food will be prepared and the typical medieval oven will be open. Furthermore, the "Elves tavern" will be open and it will be possible to taste local typical products there.

  At L.go Volfango Frankl at 6.30 pm departure of a relay that, from Miranda with a torch, will light up the traditional Christmas Star that will illuminate all Terni's valley until the 6th January.

Arrone

• Coming's Feast
  In memory of the "Lady's coming" the Arrone's Campanari group will ring the bells at 10 pm. Tradition wants that big bonfires are lit, as a sign of redemption and to illuminate the track. A bonfire will be lit in Piazza Garibaldi at 8 pm and local products will be distributed.

• Let's ring European bells to support human rights 
  Bells will be rung as expression of solidarity to support human rights, in conjunction with bell-ringers of European cities taking part to the initiative.

• Epiphany is coming from the river 
  Arrone's kayak center
  Canoes accompanied by torches will descend the Nera River by carrying the Epiphany that will stop on the lawn in front of the kayak center, bringing stockings full of cakes to be distributed among all kids.

• Pasquarella of the Abbadia: Christmas traditional popular songs along the village's streets with the choir of Valnerina's singers.
