In Umbria, on May 10th and 11th, 2025, Cammini Aperti – Special Edition 2025 will take place, an event dedicated to enhancing the value of the routes and the territories they traverse. This special edition offers several free excursions along three important spiritual routes in the region. The initiative focuses on three main themes: accessibility, promoting inclusive paths; spirituality, highlighting the intrinsic meaning of the routes; and environmental sustainability, encouraging a respectful approach to the territory. The excursions will take place along the Ways and Paths of St. Francis (with circular itineraries around Spoleto, discovering the village of Arrone and its mountain, and among the Choirs of Stroncone and San Simeone), the Way of St. Benedict (with stops at the crypt of the Basilica of San Benedetto da Norcia and in Monteleone di Spoleto, exploring the Biga and the Hostel), and the Lauretane Ways and Paths (with a route from Foligno to Colfiorito).
