On 29 and 30 November 2025, Gioiello, in the Municipality of Monte Santa Maria Tiberina, hosts Aspettando Natale, a two-day event dedicated to the festive season. The programme includes the opening of craft markets and nativity displays, along with children’s activities such as face painting, soap bubbles, balloon modelling and creative workshops. Father Christmas will be present on both days to receive children’s letters.

Saturday features performances and entertainment curated by local groups, while Sunday includes a Christmas treasure hunt for children and young people aged 8 to 15, with clues and small challenges to solve. In the afternoon, a parade with the Grinch and the Elves brings music and roaming entertainment through the village.

Food stalls will be open from 2.30 pm, together with hobby markets and areas dedicated to local products.
