From 1 to 19 August, Agosto Montefalchese returns, the event that will enliven the summer nights of Umbria's railing town, Montefalco, for almost three weeks, with a wide-ranging programme of cultural, musical and artistic events.
It will be possible to take part in numerous important events such as the 'Historical Procession' through the streets of the old town centre on Sunday 11 August, the 'Drummers and Flag-wavers Race' in Piazza del Comune on 12 August, 'The Show of the Quarters' on 13 August and the 'Crossbow and Relay Race' on 14 August.
The event will culminate on the evening of 19 August, at the Viale della Vittoria car park, with the famous "Corsa dei bovi", a re-enactment event born in 1972 from the ancient chronicles of the Renaissance period of the City of Montefalco.
