About archaeology and other stories
The new cycle of meetings held at the National Archaeological Museum and at the Roman Theatre of Spoleto is entitled "Di archeologia e altre storie" (About archaeology and other stories).
On Wednesday 23rd January, at 5 p.m., Valerio Chiaraluce, Luca Donnini, Massimiliano Gasperini (Astra onlus) are going to talk about the latest findings at the archaeological site of Carsulae.
This will be followed on 20th February by Fabio Pagano with "Where did these Lombards come from?", on 20th March by Federica Zalabra (Mibac - General Direction of Museums) with "When Luca Signorelli worked in Spoleto", on 7th April by Giulia Rocco of the University of Rome 'Tor Vergata', with "Sculptural decoration of the Spoleto Roman Theatre".
The meetings are going to end on 15th May with Gabriella Sabatini (Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape of Umbria) and Luca Donnini who are going to focus on "Spoleto (PG) - Via Monterone. The stretch of the city gate and of the Roman civic walls. New acquisitions".
