"A Gerusalemme! Immagini dei Francescani in Terra Santa" "Jerusalem! Images of the Franciscans in the Holy Land"
"A Gerusalemme! Immagini dei Francescani in Terra Santa" is a photographic exhibition of unique importance. Until the 8th November, Palazzo Bonacquisti, in piazza del Comune in Assisi, is displaying a series of shots which depict the Friars gathered in prayer, the life of the students in the schools they set up, as well as activities inside the pharmacies and handicraft workshops that they ran.
There are also pictures of the Holy Land, of churches and of archaeological artefacts.
| At the exhibition, there is also a multimedia area where you can watch videos about the Holy Land and Jerusalem, including one showing a 3D computer model of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, produced by the Associazione Pro Terra Sancta. Entry to the exhibition is free of charge. |
