In Panicale, from 5 to 21 September 2025, the Pan Opera Festival takes place, a series of concerts, operas, lyrical performances, and cultural events. The festival opens on 5 September at the Teatro Cesare Caporali with the concert La Musa nascosta, dedicated to the music of European women composers of the seventeenth century. On 7 September, a guided tour of the theatre offers the opportunity to discover the history and spaces of one of the symbolic venues of the town’s cultural life.

The programme continues on 13 September with the Opera Gala Viva il vino spumeggiante, a tribute to Verdi’s Falstaff, created in collaboration with Locanda di Ugolino and Locanda del Fagiano. On 19 September, in the Church of Sant’Agostino – Museum of Tulle, the concert Sotto lo stesso cielo, Mozart e Chopin is performed, bringing together the works of two great composers.

On 20 and 21 September, the festival reaches its climax with the opera La Serva Padrona by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, staged at the Teatro Cesare Caporali. On the morning of 21 September, the Collegiate Church of San Michele Arcangelo hosts Messa in Musica, a liturgical celebration enhanced by musical performances of the festival’s artists and artisans.
