From July 15, 2025, Città di Castello will host Metaformismo Action at the Manica Lunga of the Municipal Art Gallery in Palazzo Vitelli alla Cannoniera—an event dedicated to non-figurative art featuring 14 pictorial installations by 7 contemporary masters. The opening will take place at 5:00 PM and will include the presentation of the second edition of the monograph "Metaformismo. The Onticity of the Form in Non-Figurative Art", curated by Giulia Sillato.

The exhibition project is based on a dialogue among the works of artists Emilio Belotti, Giulio Cavanna, Sebastjan Centi, Rosetta D’Alessandro, Enzo Devastato, Massimo Fumanti, and Cristiana Grandolfo, each with a nationally and internationally recognized expressive journey. The works on display represent the outcome of shared research into form as the ontological trace of artistic thought, free from the traditional categories of "abstract" and "informal."

During the event, a clip from the film Il ministro by director Giorgio Amato, a guest of the evening, will be screened. Amato has previously shown interest in the concept of Metaformismo. The entire project highlights the connection between contemporary art and historical-architectural context, linking current visual practices to the Italian artistic tradition.
