From 18th May to 29th June 2025, the CIAC – Italian Centre for Contemporary Art in Foligno hosts the exhibition Luigi Boille: Le Baroque, curated by Italo Tomassoni. The opening is scheduled for Saturday 17th May at 6:00 p.m.

Over 40 works trace the artistic journey of Luigi Boille, one of the leading figures of European Art Informel, through a selection of large canvases and works on paper created between the 1950s and 1970s. The title Le Baroque refers to the style defined as "baroque" by the artist himself, marked by vibrant signs, vivid colours and a unique, recognisable visual language. A show that conveys the full energy of an original artistic exploration, suspended between compositional rigour and expressive freedom.
