Organ's Laurenziano Festival
The "Organ's Laurenziano Festival" is returning to Perugia, with its eight edition: the appointment is from the 30th July to the 9th August in the enchanting San Lorenzo's cathedral.
The event's star attraction will be the Tamburini organ, designed and inaugurated in 1967, with its four keypads each of whom has 61 musical notes.
This year's common thread will be Max Reger, composer, organist, pianist and composition teacher, whose 100th death's anniversary is celebrating in 2016.
Born in 1873, he was able to merge the baroque and classical methods with the new harmonic and chromatic style of the time through a style between the late Romantic era and the contemporary age.
