The 8^th edition of "The work of glassmakers" will arrive in Piegaro on 6^th and 7^th October. The protagonists will be numerous glass craftsmen from all over Italy (and beyond), invited to create two days of live work.

It will be a unique opportunity to admire the artistic and technical ability of the participants, in a journey through different techniques and styles, which will allow you to see demonstrations of furnace working, different types of glass blowing, flame working, Tiffany technique, engraving, glass casting and painting on glass.

The event will encourage the meeting between masters from different backgrounds, in order to create an increasingly rich and diverse exchange of techniques and traditions.

The initiative will take place in the frame of the 31^st Chestnut Festival of Piegaro, allowing visitors to taste the delicious dishes of local cuisine.
