PLASTIC CITIES - Toys buildings from 1800 up to today

"The kid who doesn't play isn't a kid, but the adult who doesn't play lost forever the child inside himself" Pablo Neruda

The Museum of the Bettona town and its Municipal Library are hosting until the 26 February 2017 "PLASTIC CITIES - Toys costructions from 1800 until today", an exhibition that will fascinate adults and kids, turning the first ones into kids and building dreams for the second ones.

Colored blocks will give life to houses, streets, towers, bridges, imaginary and real worlds: an authentic journey across this game's history, starting from the first boxes dating back to 1800 until the more modern pieces.

It's an itinerary reflecting the cultural and behavioural changes in the last few decades: the society and the way of representing it change over time, while remaining unchanged the delight as well as the need to create and build from a very early age with the strength of the imagination.
