There are almost 80 species of edible rustic herbs that grow spontaneously on the Subasio Mountain’s slopes: learning to recognize them, searching and cooking them is the goal of “Subasio con Gusto”, from 6^th to 8^th April in Spello.

The festival is the right occasion to discover an ancient culinary tradition of the peasant culture, that today represents an authentic natural heritage to preserve: throughout the three days of the event it will be possible to taste the most appreciated herbs of the Umbrian territory by combining environment, food and wine.

The schedule includes several initiatives such as hiking, conferences, culinary art, cooking shows, a small horticultural market and of rustic herbs, photographic explorations and a lot of fun.
