Rassegna Teatrale "Sipario d'Ottobre" - Premio Ray Lovelock 2025
The 7th Theatre Festival “October Curtain” – Ray Lovelock Award will take place in Trevi from 10 October to 9 November 2025, bringing five plays from theatre companies across Italy for a month dedicated to passion and performance.
The festival opens on Friday 10 October with the Compagnia della Mandarina from Spoleto (Pg) presenting Il Vizietto, a witty and insightful comedy that explores identity and social conventions. On Friday 17 October, the Cultural Association Giardini dell’Arte from Florence will stage La stanza di Veronica, a psychological drama that plays with memory and illusion.
On Friday 24 October, the Compagnia della Lira from Bari will perform Che pasticcio Mrs. Peach, a lively comedy of misunderstandings, followed on Saturday 1 November by the Compagnia Lunaspina Musica e Teatro from Vicenza with Fratelli vite parallele, a theatrical and musical reflection on family bonds and shared destinies.
The event will close on Sunday 9 November with a double evening: at 4:30 p.m. the Ray Lovelock Award ceremony, featuring guest of honour Jonis Bascir, followed at 6 p.m. by La Nutrice, Romeo e Giulietta by the Compagnia Teatrale Arca from Trevi (Pg), an intimate and original reinterpretation of Shakespeare’s classic.
