From 13 to 28 September 2025, Lake Trasimeno hosts the second edition of the Festival of Paths, an event dedicated to walking, outdoor sports and cultural encounters. The program combines physical activities, reflection and entertainment in a territory rich in landscapes, villages and historic routes.

The festival is designed for lovers of slow travel and open-air activities, with the Perugino Walk, the route between Paciano and Panicale, running and trekking around Lake Chiusi, the swimming crossing of the lake and the Trasimeno marathon bike. Different routes of varying length and difficulty allow participants to choose according to their needs.

Alongside the sporting activities, there are moments of discussion and entertainment: two conferences address topics related to the lake, climate change and walking routes, focusing on the links between tourism, culture and legislation. The program also includes book presentations, such as a volume dedicated to Pietro Perugino, cultural visits, ecological walks, musical performances and gastronomic events to discover local traditions.

The days alternate between cultural events, collective walks and activities for children and families. Highlights include the peace walk along the lake, the concert by Schola Cantorum “Music and Words on Climate Change”, meetings at the Fishing Museum in San Feliciano and a sunset aperitif. The festival closes with the marathon bike and a walk along the Via Romea Germanica.
