On 1 and 2 November 2025, the village of Colle del Marchese, part of Castel Ritaldi, will host FRANTOTIPICO, the event that celebrates the Umbrian region’s agricultural excellence and, in particular, its PDO extra virgin olive oil, a true symbol of quality and local identity.

During the festival, visitors can take part in guided tastings, meet local producers and watch the olive pressing in the open mills, where freshly pressed oil will be served on warm bruschetta accompanied by live music. The historic centre will host the market of typical products and local crafts, offering a journey through flavours and traditions that reflect the authenticity of the Umbrian countryside.

The programme also includes outdoor activities such as the Trekking among the olive trees and the Walk through the castle walls, designed to highlight the area’s landscapes and historical heritage. For children, there will be educational workshops on olive oil production, breadmaking and wild herbs, encouraging a closer connection with the rural world and nature.

The event will conclude in the main square with the “Earth and Fire” show and musical tastings, bringing together culture, tradition and conviviality.
