Natale in Villa 2025
In Spello, from 6 to 23 December, the Villa dei Mosaici hosts three workshops dedicated to creativity and ancient artistic techniques. The programme offers an opportunity to spend an afternoon experimenting with manual activities inside the Roman villa dating back to the Augustan age, combining practical work and moments of discovery.
The first workshop takes place on Saturday 6 December with “Christmas Imprints”, an introduction to clay modelling in which participants create a Christmas decoration using moulds and natural elements. On Sunday 14 December, the workshop “Magic in a Sphere” invites participants to produce original Christmas baubles decorated with mosaic-inspired techniques, using alternative and repurposed materials. The final appointment is on Tuesday 23 December with “The Weave of the Holidays”, an introductory experience dedicated to manual weaving, offering the chance to familiarise oneself with simple looms and coloured threads through a practical and accessible approach.
