Un magico Natale a Valfabbrica e Casacastalda 2025
From 29 November to 6 January, Valfabbrica and Casacastalda present a programme of events that accompanies the area throughout the Christmas season, with initiatives dedicated to music, tradition and activities for children. The festivities begin in Valfabbrica with the lighting of the Christmas illuminations, followed by entertainment and the opening of the first markets, which take place in both localities.
Over the following weeks, cultural appointments include the inauguration of the exhibition at the Church Museum of San Sebastiano, film screenings and creative workshops for children, together with the activities of the Paese dei Balocchi. In Casacastalda, the lighting of the illuminations introduces a route dedicated to Nativity scenes, while Valfabbrica hosts musical events and activities involving local schools and associations.
Mid-December features concerts by pupils, musical moments in the town squares and initiatives aimed at families. The days leading up to Christmas include further events in Casacastalda and the arrival of Santa Claus in both towns, with activities curated by local organisations. After Christmas, the programme continues with the Santo Stefano concert, the parish choirs’ performance and the traditional tombola at the Parish Centre of Valfabbrica.
The calendar concludes on 6 January with the arrival of the Befana, welcomed in the main squares of Casacastalda and Valfabbrica, accompanied by initiatives dedicated to children.
