From May 10th to July 6th, 2025, Palazzo Della Corgna in Città della Pieve hosts the exhibition "Umbria Novecento. Sguardi sull'arte del XX secolo nel territorio regionale". The exhibition, curated by art historian Andrea Baffoni, offers an overview of 20th-century Umbrian art through a selection of works by historicized artists who contributed to defining the artistic identity of the region. The exhibition itinerary presents paintings and sculptures that span various artistic phases, from the Futurist avant-garde to the informal and the return to figuration. Artists featured in the exhibition include Mancini, De Gregorio, Orsini, Bacosi, Mazzini, Orfei, and Venanti.

A specific section is dedicated to Umbrian Futurism with Dottori, Bruschetti, and Angelucci, also including the experience of Don Nello Palloni.

The other sections explore the new contemporary figuration, with works by Bacosi and a rare painting by Bettina Fuso, and the abstract season, with a focus on the informal poetics of the Spoleto school represented by Orsini and De Gregorio. In this context, the research of Nedda Guidi and Osmida, avant-garde figures attentive to new languages, Brajo Fuso, a recycling artist, and Edgardo Abbozzo, interested in neo-symbolist research and ancient traditions, are also included.
