The fourth edition of the Trasimeno Prog Festival will start on Thursday, August 17, in Perugia, at the Giardini del Frontone, with two Umbrian bands, Astra Arcana and Il Bacio della Medusa.

Friday, August 18 will see the move to Castiglione del Lago in the traditional setting of the Rocca Medievale, the location where the festival was born, with a concert by Aldo Tagliapietra Band, historical voice of Le Orme, and La Maschera di Cera.

Saturday, August 19, will be a day with three events: La Cruna del Lago will present the album Schiere di sudditi; then it will be the turn of Gianni Nocenzi's piano solo, and finally the music of Franco Battiato will be celebrated, with the International Symphony Orchestra conducted by Leonardo Quadrini and accompanied by La Cruna del Lago 

Closing the event on Sunday, Aug. 20, will be another double concert: it will feature the new lineup Furio Chirico's The Trip presenting their album Equinox and, finally, the Ancient Veil of fiatist Edmondo Romano with the absolute national premiere of the lineup's new album, soon to be released.

For collectors and fans, the three-day Record Fair in Castiglione's Gramsci Square is confirmed, as well as book presentations in the pipeline.
