The music of Italian cinema - the most beautiful soundtracks

On 11 January, Umbria Film Academy will present a concert entitled ‘Le musiche del cinema italiano - le più belle colonne sonore’ (The music of Italian cinema - the most beautiful soundtracks) at the Teatro Comunale in Todi, with the participation of actor and director Marco Bocci.
It is a journey through the most important soundtracks that have marked the history of Italian cinema, a journey made even more interesting by the projection of images, films and the narration of events linked to some famous ‘director-composer’ partnerships.
The accompanying orchestra will be the Umbria Regional Youth Orchestra, chosen by the Umbria Film Academy to highlight young Umbrian talents.
The artistic direction is by Gabriele Guidi, and the musical direction by Michelangelo Galeati, cellist and conductor.
The entire proceeds of the concert will be donated to charity.
The concert made its international debut in Croatia on the occasion of Italian Republic Day, then went on a European tour to many countries, and on the occasion of the repeat performance in Slovenia it was awarded the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic.
