The Art of Masters - Individual Exhibition of Daniel Lauri

The tribute to the big Masters of the Art History of the painter Daniel Lauri will be exhibited at the Diocesan Museum of Gubbio, from the 1st July to the 27th August, in the exhibition “Art of Masters”.

The artist of French origins, completely self-taught, takes inspiration for her artworks by the long study made since she was adolescent on the artworks of the big painters from 1600 to 1800.
Born in 1943 in Paris, Daniel started to paint when he was 16 years old.

Completely self-taught, he spent long periods in museums to study the Masters of the 17th and 19th centuries.
It can be observed that if the nude and portrait are his favourite themes, he also dabbles in the still life and in the animals depiction, preferring a bit the landscape that, in his opinion, is best suited to be represented in the countryside rather than in the laboratory. In the search for infinite and beauty, he lets run his creative imagination, so to widen it. In that a way the gaze can investigate the secrets of hearts.
The exhibition of Daniel Luri will be open to the public with free entrance from the 1st July to the 27th August, from Tuesday to Sunday.
