Star of Miranda
As every year, “The Star of Miranda” is going to light again in the evening of the 8th December, along the slope of the Mount Miranda overlooking Terni and the Terni valley.
Until January this real lighting work of art will make the St.
Valentine town and its surroundings shine, and will remain visible from miles away.
The installation consists of about 80 light points distributed precisely and accurately along the mountain, has a diameter of 105 metres, whereas its tail extends over about 350 metres. Globally it occupies a surface of 30.000 square metres and requires 9 km of electrical cables.
The lighting occurs, in line with tradition, on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception with a torchlight starting from the town of Miranda.
