From May 10th to August 17th, 2025, CAOS - Centro Arti Opificio Siri in Terni hosts the exhibition of Silvia Piconi titled "Segni di Memoria" (Signs of Memory). Curated by Olga Strada, the exhibition presents an artistic and performative project reflecting on the transformation of industrial archaeology sites through the language of contemporary art and bodily action. Silvia Piconi uses artistic practice as a means of dialogue with the historical memory of abandoned industrial sites, evoking traces of the past with performances that blend graphics, symbols, and body movements. The "Segni di Memorie" (Signs of Memories) project has developed through performative art in iconic abandoned industrial archaeology sites such as: La Vela di Calatrava (Rome), Il vecchio mulino della Cervelletta (Rome), il Bilancione (Fiumicino), the Former Penicillin LEO Factory (Rome), the Former Miralanza Factory (Rome), the Former Oil Mill (Rome), the Labaro Park (Rome), the Pillars of the Bailey Bridge (Rome), the Former Penna Rossa Hydroelectric Factory (Papigno), the Elettrocarbonium former steel factory (Narni), and AMG Energia (Palermo).
