Populations and Religions Terni Film Festival
The “Populations and Religions Film Festival” will return in Terni with the theme “Metamorphosis”: the 13th edition of the cinema festival will be staged from the 10th to the 20th November.
As every year, also for the 2017 the calendar will be rich with appointments, initiatives and an innovation: after 12 years the Film Festival of Terni will come back to talk about India.
In this respect, on Sunday 19th November there will the presentation of the short film by the artistic director Arnaldo Casali, made after his trip to New Delhi precisely for the occasion.
The Film Festival today boasts an international dimension, yet without losing sight of its Italian identity and it always remains a point of reference for the Umbrian film makers.
This year the proposed cinematographic works representing all five continents will be totally 83. Italy will present 35 movies, followed by Great Britain (7), India (6), United States (5), Poland, Iran, Iraq and Israel (3), Russia, Serbia and South Africa (2) and lastly Morocco, Kazakhstan, Germany, Sri Lanka, Finland, Australia, Canada, Malawi, Ukraine, Burma, France, Croatia and Spain, each one with a movie proposal.
The local artworks will also remain a focus of the event: Umbria will be present with 5 movies on calendar.
The contest of short films, documentaries and movies will be as always interspersed with musical moments and debates on the subject.
