Notte dei Tamburi e delle Stelle

On Sunday, August 7, Via Tre Case in Bastia Umbra will become an open-air stage for La Notte dei Tamburi e delle Stelle, an event that blends music and stargazing in the heart of the Umbra Valley. The main performers of the evening will be Tetraktis Percussioni, an ensemble of fifteen percussionists who will accompany the sunset with an immersive performance.

The road of Via Tre Case, nestled in the countryside between Bastia Umbra and Torgiano, will be the heart of the event. The location, free of public lighting and far from residential areas, maintains the characteristics of an agricultural park and offers a unique view of the Umbrian mountain range, from Mount Subasio to the Martani Mountains. This privileged position ensures a low level of light pollution, ideal for nighttime sky observation.

Throughout the evening, it will be possible to observe stars, planets, and celestial phenomena up close thanks to three telescope stations set up by the Subasio Amateur Astronomy Group.

The initiative is part of the Bastia Aria d’Estate 2025 summer program and the Suoni Controvento festival, which promotes immersive cultural experiences connected to unique locations.
