After the success of the 2016 edition devoted to "Museums and Cultural Landscapes", the Museums Day is returning on the 20^th and 21^st May and this year will focus on the topic "Museums in Contes(x)t: tell the indescribable in museums", a new way to talk about the cultural heritage through new perspectives, opportunities for reflection and involvement.

During these two days, events, special openings and initiatives all over the country are planned according to specific time ranges and intended for precise group targets: on Saturday, families and kids in the morning (9 am - 2pm: The Heritage for kids), curious and enthusiasts in the afternoon (2 pm - closing time: The tale of the heritage, Room for the expert, Behind the Heritage), and, at last, the big audience (starting from 2 pm and until the closing time: The performance of culture).

Sunday will be instead open to everyone (The Heritage for/of everyone), with a series of appointments focused on the topic of participation in the Heritage).
