➡ Well of the Quarry – 29th Crib in the Well

Where: Orvieto
It’s a peculiar crib set in the inspiring big cave of Etruscan origin, called the Well of the Quarry. The setting-up and the main theme, that is different in each edition, is made by professionals of theatrical and film special effects also with life-size mechanical characters. The goal is developing leitmotifs based on a precise historical reconstruction of habits and customs, by mixing sacred texts, myths and traditions.

➡ Porano in the Crib
When: 25/12/2017, from 5 to 7 pm
Where: Porano
The old district of the village turns into an evocative backdrop for the historical re-enactment of Bethlem contained in the Gospel. Beyond 60 characters are going to recreate scenes of life within 19 spaces, among cellars and caves, properly set up with soft lights, torches, sacred and Christmas music. 

➡ Living Crib – 38th edition 
When: 24/12/17, 26/12/17 and 06/01/18, from 4 to 7 pm
Where: Monteleone di Orvieto
The event reconstructs aspects, situations, habits and customs of Palestine at the time of the Roman Empire. The crib counts about 200 participants and attracts a wide public.
