Poster for the “Laudato Sie” exhibition in Assisi

Laudato Sie 2025

From 12th April to 12th October 2025, the Museo del Tesoro – Salone Papale, located within the Sacred Convent of Saint Francis in Assisi, will host the exhibition Laudato Sie: Nature and Science – The Cultural Heritage of Saint Francis. On display is a remarkable collection of Franciscan manuscripts dating back 800 years, including the renowned Canticle of Brother Sun, alongside 93 works – manuscripts and ancient books – from the historic collection of the Municipal Library of Assisi.

The exhibition stands out for its innovative use of multimedia, featuring two immersive environments that open and close the exhibition route: one dedicated to the Canticle of Brother Sun, the other titled Cum Tucte le tue creature, celebrating the Franciscan vision of harmony between humanity, nature and the universe. Organised into nine sections, the itinerary guides visitors through the knowledge cultivated by the Franciscans over the centuries: from theology to medicine, from astronomy to optics, and from physics and alchemy to botany.
