The Municipality of Ferentillo and the Italian Federation of Popular Traditions (F.I.T.P.) have organized the important national event "Italia e Regioni," which will be held in Ferentillo from September 13th to 15th, 2024. This event offers the opportunity to celebrate and compare the diverse cultural, regional, and historical identities of our country, highlighting the richness of Italy's ethnographic heritage.

Among the highlights of the event is the "Spettacolo Laboratorio," where participating groups will have the opportunity to engage with the Scientific Committee. This meeting aims to explore innovative methods and systems to keep ethnographic traditions alive, adapting them to modern staging needs.

The event will also focus on traditional cuisine through the "Cuochi in Piazza" competition, which aims to promote the rich culinary heritage of Italy's regions. At the end of the competition, the prepared dishes will be shared among participants and the public, celebrating the values of community and collective well-being, which are central themes of the 2024 edition.

Another significant initiative within "Italia e Regioni" is the National Traditional Games and Sports Competition, established to preserve and promote play as an essential cultural and social element. The F.I.T.P. recognizes the importance of play, long studied by philosophers, educators, psychologists, and anthropologists, as an integral part of human cultures.
