Literary cafés with authors and writers, but also many side initiatives: until 23^rd September Passignano sul Trasimeno is going to host the sixth edition of the Trasimeno Book’s Island.

This year the festival, created to promote reading, will be devoted to the woman, “to her role, her individuality and her ability to give her best in all sectors of the social life”.

For the whole summer season, the lake village is going to host beyond 20 ‘female’ literary cafés, but also musical events, photographic and painting exhibitions, charity events, market exhibitions, laboratories for kids and cabaret shows.

The event will also re-offer the literary prize “Tell me Umbria in one book”, that will be attributed to the two authors who have been able to narrate at best the peculiar features of Umbria.
