From 18 to 25 August there will be HISPELLVM, the historical re-enactment of the Roman era that rekindles the splendour of imperial Spello. 
Seven days for a journey back in time to the capital of the Umbrians and Romans, to lose oneself in the marvellous atmospheres of squares and markets, to immerse oneself in scenes of daily life, to attend magnificent processions, ancient rites, celebrations, ludi and circenses, shows, excursions and guided tours.
It will be a unique experience to discover, in the shadow of the grandiose monuments of the Roman age, the splendid Colonia Iulia and the ancient Hispellates, being able to admire their events, games and challenges, sit at the table of the tabernae where you can taste unusual and refined flavours.
Every day, until late at night, HISPELLVM will enliven the sites of the ancient civitas with a rich programme of events.
With history making a spectacle of itself in the re-evocative moments, but also a cue for conferences, talks, didactic workshops, exhibitions, immersive experiences, and walks/stories on the tracks and towards the monuments of the splendid Spello of Umbrians and Romans.
