On Sunday, 27 October, it will be possible to take part in an excursion to discover one of the most striking beech forests in the Monte Cucco Regional Park.
It will start at 3 p.m. from the Mainardi Refuge to embark on a ring-route of medium-easy difficulty, covering 6 km and 400 metres in altitude difference, walking along the park's paths.
Afterwards, we will return to Pian delle Macinare to enjoy roasted chestnuts and mulled wine.
Material to bring for the hike is as follows: rucksack, water bottle with adequate supply of water, energy snacks / dried fruit, windproof jacket, winter hat / cap, thermal layer, warm clothing, hiking boots and trekking poles.
