Corciano Festival - Agosto Corcianese 2024

The 60th edition of the Corciano Festival - Agosto Corcianese will be staged from 9 to 18 August 2024.
The programme includes a series of cultural and artistic events, including workshops, readings, presentations and debates, as well as concerts and historical re-enactments.
It will begin on 9 August, with a preview: the concert by singer-songwriter Fabrizio Moro, an event that is part of the Suoni Controvento Festival, at the Area Verde Enzo Melani.
On Saturday 10, the event will get into full swing, with the inauguration of the 60th Agosto Corcianese - Corciano Festival, at 6 p.m. in Piazza Doni, with special guest Corrado Augias, who will receive the L'Umbria del cuore award and will be interviewed by Sergio Casagrande.
On Sunday 11, at 9 p.m., at the Giardini del Torrione di Posta S. Maria, the first performance of "Ulisse - Una peripezia maschile" (Ulysses - A Male Peripeteia) will be presented, based on Milan Kundera's "Amori ridicoli" (Ridiculous Loves), directed and dramatised by Samuele Chiovoloni.
On Tuesday 13, however, at 9 p.m., one can take part in the "Serenate dei menestrelli", with the Minstrels of Corciano who will perform sweet serenades at windows and balconies, to then gather in the piazza and celebrate to the sound of bagpipes and tambourines.
On Wednesday 14, at 9.30 p.m., it will be the turn of the Cerimonia del Lume and on Thursday 15, at 9.30 p.m., the Disfida degli arcieri tra i rioni del Castello di Corciano.
Finally, on Sunday 18, at 21:00 in Piazza Coragino, the closing concert of the event will be staged, with a Tribute to Renato Carosone by Renatissimo with Enzo Decaro.
