Contemporary Art Exhibitions
From July 5 to September 21, 2025, Trevi hosts two new solo exhibitions at Palazzo Lucarini Contemporary: I APOLOGISE by Franko B and PROPIZIATORIO by Sabrina Iezzi, offering a parallel dialogue between generations, artistic languages, and perspectives on identity, the body, and memory.
With I APOLOGISE, Franko B returns to Trevi, reaffirming an artistic and personal relationship that began in 2016. The exhibition brings together works made using diverse techniques – sculpture, embroidery, video, ceramics – to explore, in a raw and visceral way, themes of violence, individual vulnerability, personal memory, and collective responsibility. During the opening evening, the artist will also present a new performance titled I Apologise.
At the same time, the chapel of Palazzo Lucarini hosts PROPIZIATORIO, a site-specific installation by Sabrina Iezzi, a young artist from the Academy of Fine Arts in L’Aquila, curated by Maurizio Coccia and Mario Consiglio. The work explores the relationship between power, gender, and faith, accompanied by a live performance focused on trust and intimate storytelling.
The two exhibitions offer a dual vision of art as a tool for questioning and dialogue, in a space that continues to foster critical experimentation and openness.
Opening: Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 7:00 PM
