From 29 November 2025 to 6 January 2026, Cannara lights up with magic and tradition thanks to a rich calendar of events designed for the whole family. For more than a month, the village becomes a warm and festive place where visitors can experience the most authentic atmosphere of an Umbrian Christmas.

The streets of the historic centre come alive with Christmas markets, Nativity-themed exhibitions, tastings of local products and workshops for children, including the charming “Cookie Factory”, where kids can create their own Christmas treats. Tradition plays a key role, with living Nativity scenes, bonfires, sacred representations and concerts that animate the holiday season.

Music accompanies the celebrations throughout the period: choirs, performances in the churches and school shows make the atmosphere even more special. For nature lovers, the programme also includes outdoor activities and excursions, while families can enjoy meeting Santa Claus and, in early January, the Befana, who arrives in the square to delight children.

Cannara welcomes visitors with its simplicity, lights and heartfelt traditions, offering both adults and children the joy of experiencing Christmas together.
