The harvest is the most exciting moment of the work in the vineyard and the producers members of the Umbria Wine Tourism Movement for years love to share with wine tourists and wine lovers this special moment for wineries.

Also this year, on the weekend of 23 and 24 September, many Umbrian wineries will open their places of production, to offer the opportunity to participate in the collection and pressing of grapes. Of course, there will also be moments dedicated to tasting the first products of the winery, in combination with seasonal food and wine products.

Wine lovers can be involved in the harvest, directly in the vineyard, but also in the other phases of the harvest, an ancient ritual that, this year in particular, finds in the sky precious indications and unmissable events, such as the one with the Moon of the Harvest, that this year will fall on September 19, and it will be the last Supermoon of the year, or the Autumn Equinox that occurs on Saturday 23. There will be many activities planned by the cellars for children, so they can become "Winemakers for a day" and learn the process of the birth of wine.

Bunches celebrated at Mevante, on 23 and 24 September, on the occasion of the weekends of Cantine Aperte in Vendemmia.
