ArtFall Festival 2024
From 22 to 25 August 2024 the historic centre of Amelia (Piazza Unità d'Italia) will host the tenth edition of the ArtFall Festival: an independent music festival.
Four evenings under the banner of performing arts and social gathering activities: it starts on Thursday 22 August in the late afternoon, with performances by maestro Simone Serangeli's samba school. Following this, resident DJ Shuerty will set the stage for emerging Terni singers Rosewood and Minimal, opening for Australian Dub FX, one of the most important personalities on the international reggae and dub scene. DJ Domenico Rossi's electronic music will end the first evening of the festival.
On Friday 23 August, Valentina Meriggioli and La Bayadère will perform first. Shuerty's DJ set will be followed by a live performance by the Spinabella collective, a band of ten young men from Rome, opening with a concert by the Brescian rock band Cara Calma. The Friday night DJ set is in the hands of Simone Merlini.
The third day of the festival, Saturday 24 August, begins with the Light Painting workshop for children and young people, in collaboration with Sistema Museo. This will be followed by a performance by Cantiere Danza di Simone Vacante. The first band to take the stage on Saturday night will be Disco Club Paradiso, who emerged from the X-Factor programme and have just come out with their first album Come Smettere con l'Università. The top band, however, is España Circo Este. Between one live show and the next, the Amelia sky will come alive thanks to the Eagle Show drone show. In closing, DJ set by Phil-o.
Also on Sunday 25 August, the Amelia Archaeological Museum will extraordinarily open its doors for the Light Painting workshop. Starting at dinner time, Piazza Unità d'Italia will host performances by Irene Corvi's Studio Danza Olympia. Bartolini, a young Roman indie singer-songwriter, will bring his debut album TILT to the stage. The main artist on the last date is Lucio Corsi, on a promotional tour of his fourth studio album La Gente che Sogna.
A food and drink area is provided in the festival area for both dinner and post-concerts. Photographic and painting exhibitions and craft markets will be set up throughout the square.
