63rd Summer Season at the Roman Theatre

The 63rd Summer Season at the Roman Theatre in Gubbio will take place from 27 July to 16 August with a wide and varied programme, in order to cater for different types of spectators.
Classical theatre performances will alternate with concerts organised by various city and Umbrian festivals, accompanied by performances by local companies, orchestras, opera recitals and much more. 
In detail, the programme includes Evita Ciri's show ‘Ho amato tutto’, with Paola Pitagora, on 27 July, and ‘In fin dei conti. Capitoli di una messinscena’ with texts and voice by Angelo Mellone, on 30 July the “Bacchae of Euripides”, with the Compagnia Kerkìs and directed by Christian Poggioni, on 1 and 2 August the XXXI edition of the Gubbstock rock festival, on 3 August ’Mamma ho perso l'Aureli! ‘by Emanuela Aureli and Sergio Di Folco, with Emanuela Aureli, 6 August ‘Pseudolus by Plautus’, with the Centro Teatrale Meridionale, adapted and directed by Nicasio Anzelmo, 7 August ‘Lu Santo jullare Francesco’, with the Compagnia Kerkìs, by and with Christian Poggioni, 9 August ‘La pace di Aristofane’, with the Castilia company and adaptation, direction and music by Vincenzo Zingaro. It will end on 16 August with ‘Sacromud. Gubbio to Memphis’ by the Gubbio Jazz Club.
