Contemporary music, poetry, literature, philosophy, cartoon cinema, theatre, architecture and dance: for disruptively innovative performing arts will be protagonists and authentic activators of the less usual and most fascinating places of the Assisi territory.

With Assisi Universe - A Festival in Secret Places, from 21^st to 29^th July, the Park of the Subasio Mountain, the Major and Minor Fortresses, as well as the small Square of the New Church and the Roman Forum, will encompass and will be natural stages of the festival’s performances.

These and other fascinating as well as surprising places will narrate in an unusual way a city rich in historical and natural treasures.

Among the protagonists of this second edition there will be: Ghemon, one of the most talented and appreciated Italian hip hop artists; Vinicio Marchioni, actor, film director and screenwriter; the Big - Bjarke Ingels Group, a group of architects, designers, urban planners, landscape professionals, designers and researchers which works among Copenhagen, New York and London; Kordz, a Georgian producer, performer and composer; Michael Nyman, composer, musician, orchestra conductor, pianist, author, musicologist but also photographer and film director.

For almost ten days Assisi is thus going to become a place of encounter and inspiration for the major international representatives of architecture, literature, music and theatre.
