"Wonders of the art world in Perugia from the Renaissance to the period of the Grand Tour"

Three appointments to examine the most important moments of Umbrian artistic production between the 16th and 19th centuries: this is the aim of the series of meetings "Wonders of the art world in Perugia from the Renaissance to the period of the Grand Tour", with the encounters scheduled between January and March in the Galleria Nazionale dell'Umbria of Perugia.

The series began on the 21st January, with an in-depth study on the period straddling the 19th and 20th centuries, which saw renowned Italian artists as well of those from abroad in Perugia.

The initiative continues on the 23rd February with the conference " The fortunes of the Umbrian Renaissance in Napoleonic France", dedicated to the dispersal of Umbrian Renaissance masterpieces during the Napoleonic age.
