"Sensational Umbria" by Steve McCurry on display in Spello
From 12 April, in the halls of the Civic and Diocesan Art Gallery, 14 photos tell the story of Umbria as seen by the famous American photographer.
From 12 April to 15 July 2015, in the halls of the Civic Art Gallery of Spello, it will be possible to visit the exhibition of the 14 photos, through which the great American photographer Steve McCurry tells the story of Umbria, with a personal interpretation of the reality he encountered.
In fact, this itinerant exhibition continues on in the towns of Umbria with some of the 100 photos of "Sensational Umbria" created by Steve McCurry for a branding activity that the Umbria Regional Authority is implementing. With the attentive eye of a great expert of contemporary reality and an international vision of his own work, McCurry was inspired by the values and the content of the environment, by the culture and the quality of the territory and by the artisan and industrial products that draw inspiration from the history and culture of the territory of Umbria.
