Before long, the palace became the Hotel della Posta, the only hotel in the city of Perugia.

Personalities of the time, stopping over in the city, always stayed at the hotel. Thus in 1786 the poets Heinse and Goethe were hosted, in 1802 the philosopher Humboldt, in 1824 Frederick II of Prussia, in 1833 the writer Andersen.

Much has changed since then, but not the charm of the Hotel della Posta, which, completely renovated in 2017, is still old and new, unique and exclusive boutique hotel in the centre of Perugia.

The Hotel's 17 rooms are all air-conditioned, equipped with Sky TV, Wifi internet and all modern comforts with warm parquet floors. Among them is Suite no. 108, the only room with two bathrooms and decorated with an original 18th century fresco that makes this room the perfect combination of classic and modern, and two rooms with a terrace, on the fourth floor of the Hotel, with a breathtaking view over the rooftops of Perugia centre. Equipped one with a multifunctional Jacuzzi Frame and the other with a Jacuzzi bathtub on the terrace, they allow guests who choose them to experience a unique and unforgettable stay.
