Terni e Narni Horror Fest 2025
From October 27 to November 2, Terni and Narni will host a new edition of the Terni and Narni Horror Fest, a well-established event for horror enthusiasts, offering a week of cinema, literature and theatre.
On Monday, October 27, the exhibition “Demoni” will open at the Municipal Library of Terni, running until October 30, officially inaugurating the festival week. On the same days, October 27 and 28, a collaboration with Sentieri del Cinema, directed by Maria Rita Fedrizzi, will allow members of the Amici dell’Horror Fest association to access discounted tickets for the screening of the cult musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show in its restored original version.
On Thursday, October 30, the festival will reach its core with the presentation of “Il Palazzo delle Ombre”, the latest book by Roberto Carboni, thriller and noir writer and president of the jury of the Terni Horror X Award. The event will take place at 5:00 p.m. in the Literary Café hall of the Municipal Library. The evening will continue with the premiere of the murder mystery dinner “In nome del falso”, written by Alex Coman and Sergio Laliscia and performed by the theatre company I Delittattori, at the Umami restaurant.
On October 31, Halloween day, the BCT – Municipal Library of Terni will host at 5:00 p.m. a writing workshop led by Roberto Carboni, followed at 9:30 p.m. by the traditional “Spectral Reading”, a live performance of dramatic readings presented by members of the Amici dell’Horror Fest association.
On Saturday, November 1, the festival will move to Narni, where the finalists of the literary competition will be the protagonists of the award ceremony at 6:30 p.m. in the San Domenico Auditorium, preceded by a guided tour of Narni Underground, recently expanded with new rooms.
The festival will conclude on Sunday, November 2, with a true crime event: Italo-Brazilian writer Francine Arioza will present her essay The Black Book of Brazil, exploring the criminal history of her country through tales of cults and serial killers. The event will take place at Umami Street at 6:30 p.m., followed by the encore performance of the murder mystery dinner, closing the week of the Terni and Narni Horror Fest.
