Poster of Lucy. Sogno di un'evoluzione in Foligno

Lucy. Sogno di un'evoluzione 2025/2026

Foligno, from 6 December 2025 to 7 June 2026Palazzo Trinci hosts Lucy. Sogno di un'evoluzione, an exhibition dedicated to one of Tanino Liberatore’s most significant long-term projects, developed over more than twenty years. The exhibition is inspired by the discovery of Lucy, an Australopithecus afarensis specimen that lived over three million years ago and was found in Ethiopia in 1974, regarded as a key milestone in the history of human evolution.

The exhibition route guides visitors through preparatory pencil drawings, studies of australopithecine figures and natural settings, alongside the final digital illustrations. Traditional techniques and digital tools come together in a visual narrative that connects a distant past with contemporary visual languages.

The exhibition offers an accessible, multisensory experience, in which graphic drawing and computer graphics contribute to a coherent narrative. The project invites reflection on themes of transformation and origins, offering an artistic perspective on one of humanity’s most enduring questions.
