The International Folklore Festival of Castiglione del Lago is coming back also this year, in the suggestive scenery offered by the Medieval Fortress's Theatre. On the 29th of July and on the 15^th August groups coming from all the world are going to meet in order to promote the knowledge and the exchange of traditions and cultures among different populations.

The Festival, that has now reached its 41^st edition, represents the main Umbrian event of its kind and one of the most important ones at the national level. It hosted dozens of folk groups from all over the world, from the Rio Carnival's Brazilian ones to the New Zealand's Maoris, from the Australian Aborigines to the Ivory Coast's Africans, until the members of the main schools of East European and Asiatic countries.

This year there are going to be on the stage New Zealand, Turkey, Croatia, Italy, Ukraine, Montenegro and Spain, that are going to exhibit themselves with always unique and original shows.
