The Gubbio's Roman Theatre

The theatre, finished by the magistrate Gneo Satrio Rufo at around the 20th before Christ, was built with big calcareous rustic ashlar-work blocks. It shows two orders of arcades, of which the lower level and some arches corresponding to the upper gallery are standing up.

The building could host about 6000 visitors and was among the largest theatres of its time.
