From 20th to 29th June 2025, the village of Arrone, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, celebrates its patron San Giovanni Battista with ten days of events dedicated to culture, spirituality, music and tradition. The programme includes something for everyone, with religious moments, concerts, performances, family activities and food events.

Among the highlights, on 21st and 22nd June, is the return of Sforchettanno, a food trail through the historic centre combining local flavours with music and conviviality. On the same night, Arrone also joins La Notte Romantica, a nationwide event held in Italy’s most beautiful villages. The town comes alive with music, shows and romantic settings. In Piazza Garibaldi, the orchestra Sarà e i Sogno Mediterraneo performs, followed by a fireworks show by Pyro’Vaghi.

Other events include the Festa Maggiolina (25th June), the Concorso Gianparolo Sinibaldi (27th June), the traditional market fair, and the Campionato giovanile campanari on 28th June. On Sunday 29th, the celebrations close with the folk performance by “Alessandro Gallii” and the Duezervono Valnerina MTB race award ceremony.

The religious programme includes the triduum from 20th to 22nd June, a procession on the 23rd and the solemn Mass on 24th June, the saint’s feast day.
