On Sunday 8 February 2026, in Attigliano (TR), the historic centre hosts the Carnevale Tijanese 2026, an event that brings the town together for an afternoon dedicated to participation and carnival tradition. From 3.00 pm, the streets of the village come alive with a masked parade featuring neighbourhood groups, individual costumes and allegorical floats.

The meeting point is Piazza della Repubblica, from where the parade sets off at 3.30 pm, making its way through the town and reaching the historic centre, accompanied by music and entertainment. The event unfolds as a collective experience, engaging both participants and visitors along the route.

A live music show is scheduled during the afternoon, accompanying the parade and the various moments of gathering. At 5.00 pm, the final défilé and award ceremony take place, with prizes for the best neighbourhood masked group and the best non-local group or individual costume, recognising the most noteworthy entries.

The event has free admission and includes a food & drink area available throughout the afternoon. Registrations for participation in the parade and awards can be completed on the day of the event or in advance by contacting the organisers.
