From 18 October to 28 November, San Venanzo hosts a new edition of “Autumn in San Venanzo”, a programme combining culture, local discovery and seasonal tastes. Seven events enliven the autumn months with meetings, walks and convivial moments.

The festival opens on 18 October with the Saverio Marinelli Literary Award ceremony, followed on 19 October by the “In Pink” Walk, organised with AIRC Umbria for breast cancer prevention. On 25 October, the Serra Comunale will host the presentation of the book Il talento oscuro delle volpi by Laura Stopponi, with illustrations by Patrizia Ceci. The next day, 26 October, celebrates the traditional Chestnut Festival, featuring a morning walk and a social lunch at the Giardini Comunali.

In November, the programme continues with the “Novelli d’Autunno” Evening on 8 November, a tasting event featuring local seasonal products curated by the Pro Loco. On 15 November, the opening of the Unitre San Venanzo academic year will take place, while the closing event on 28 November, “The Margaritelli Company Story – From San Venanzo to the World”, will retrace the history of a major local enterprise.

Throughout the season, the San Venanzo Volcanological Museum will be open every Sunday and on public holidays, from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00, offering guided tours dedicated to the area’s geological and natural heritage.
